Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an ERP for small and medium-sized businesses based on Dynamics NAV.
Microsoft Business Central connector
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an all-in-one business management solution that helps companies connect their financial, sales, service, and operations activities to streamline business processes, improve customer interactions, and make better decisions.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an application that saves employees time and improves efficiency through automated tasks and workflows, all in familiar Office 365 productivity tools such as Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
The wide distribution of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP and the Prestashop, Magento, Shopify and Woocommerce e-Commerce platforms led us to develop an initial configuration of exchanges between the management solution and the E-commerce CMS:
– Sending the article catalog from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to Prestashop, Magento, Shopify or Woocommerce, the “pivot” of identification of an article being its reference, both in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and in Prestashop, Magento, Shopify and Woocommerce. The articles extracted from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to feed Prestashop, Magento, Shopify and Woocommerce are described by the reference, designation, base price, VAT identification (in correspondence between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Prestashop, Magento, Shopify or Woocommerce), weight, available stock (either physical stock or forward stock, on a given deposit or all deposits).
– Recovery of customers who have placed an order on the Prestashop, Magento, Shopify or Woocommerce site, either by attaching the different delivery addresses to a single generic web client in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or by creating a customer in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for each new customer in Prestashop, Magento, Shopify or Woocommerce (separate identifier in Prestashop, Magento, Shopify and Woocommerce).
– Recovery of orders registered on the Prestashop, Magento, Shopify or Woocommerce site, including header information (customer contact details in particular), details of order lines in association with the reference of the article, information on the amount of shipping costs and the possible use of a voucher. This last information (shipping costs and discount vouchers) is retrieved in the form of a specific item line.
– Sending Prestashop, Magento, Shopify or Woocommerce an acknowledgment of receipt of orders correctly integrated into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central so that at the next retrieval of orders from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, only those that have not already been integrated into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are extracted.
In addition to this initial configuration of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central connector <-> Prestashop, Magento, Shopify and Woocommerce, other flows can be made with Open Flux, especially in terms of prices, variations, resource files (images, documents, etc …), taking into account payment methods and integration of regulations, interfaces with other solutions such as logisticians or label publishers, etc …
